The ultimate aim of karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the practice for perfection of character in its students.
Southern Utah Wado Kai Karate is a traditional Japanese karate school that has brought the 50-year traditions and disciplines of DenwaKan Martial Arts Center, to the heart of St. George, Utah.
Southern Utah Wado-Kai Karate is a welcoming and all inclusive community, where mutual respect and dojo pride are nurtured through karate training,
Southern Utah Wado-Kai Karate focuses on Japanese karate disciplines and dojo manners, and students can expect to learn:

It is through the learning of karate that students will gain courage, and strength both mentally and physically.
Classes are offered for children ages 5 years old and up, and adults of all ages.
Southern Utah Wado-Kai does not require contracts upon signing up, but is a month-to-month tuition status only. Drop-in classes are not available at this time.
If you would like to try Wado-Kai Karate, your first class is complimentary. Please call ahead, and arrive at least 15 minutes early for your introduction. Please do not wear shorts to your first class. Workout pants/leggings and t-shirts are acceptable. Karate uniforms are sold separately and are available through Sensei Shannon Mondry.
